The Octagon Dress was developed as a zero-waste design project, combining sustainable construction methods with bold visual storytelling. Inspired by 1990s aesthetics, Pop Art, visits to the MAMAC and Musée Matisse, as well as the vibrant colour language of Niki de Saint Phalle, the collection explores expressive pattern and sculptural form through a contemporary lens.
The garment was created using calico fabric printed with original DTG (Direct-To-Garment) designs produced with water-based eco inks. All prints were personally designed, printed, constructed, and fully lined by hand. The project forms the foundation for a future summer collection focused on breathable, fluid materials and sustainable design practices.
